Help Us Get To The Comedy Festival In 2010

Brenna and Clem are both funny; The Age said, of their 2009 Melbourne International Comedy Festival show Club XX, that they were “natural performers … mocking, self-deprecating and funny”.

Brenna and Clem are also both broke. Clem is a writer and Brenna is a student. You do the maths.

That’s where YOU come in! Would you like to help raise funds to get their 2010 show The Audition registered for the Festival? Like a “no timewasters” band with “songs written” and “contract awaiting”, we just need to get past the first hurdle: the $450 registration fee.

Donate here – in return you’ll get a thank-you in the program, and – for all donations of $10 or over – as many free tickets as you can eat (on the one night, that is – we’d love to give you 15 tickets to each of the 20+ shows, but you know…).

It’s just like going to a fundraising gig, except without the ear-bleeding earnestness of our friends’ acoustic ensembles, and with less of a chance of getting food poisoning from the bake sale! You can turn those frowns (pictured above) upside-down (pictured below)!

All you need to do is click on this handy button, and you could be helping new comedy get amongst it in 2010.

Go on. We’re not even that man-hating or lesbiany.
